Rufa Mae Quinto to appear in 'Lolong'

Rufa Mae Quinto is set to bring her signature charm and comedy in the final few days of “Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila.”

As seen in a teaser posted by GMA Network, Rufa Mae’s character is named Gigi. She survives a holdup and is helped by Badong (Ketchup Eusebio).

In an interview, the comedienne said her character is a “simple, fun” call center agent.

“Miss kong umarte. Parang after one year yata, ngayon ulit ako nag-acting. So it means a lot, so thank you ‘Lolong,’” she said.

In "Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila," Lolong (Ruru Madrid) moves to Manila for a fresh start after losing his powers. There, he encounters action-packed adventures and challenges.

The series airs Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" on GMA Prime. The finale premieres on Friday.

Rufa Mae also has an upcoming project with Alessandra De Rossi.
