Sparkle welcomes Shuvee Etrata back to the outside world
Shuvee Etrata received a warm welcome from her Sparkle GMA Artist Center family after her stint in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition!”
On Instagram, Sparkle shared some snaps from Shuvee’s homecoming party on Tuesday.
As seen in the photos, Shuvee was warmly welcomed by Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo, Shuvee's family from Cebu, friends, beloved fans, and fellow Sparkle stars Anthony Constantino, Skye Chua, and Roxie Smith.
“The Island Ate of Cebu is finally home! After her inspiring journey inside the Pinoy Big Brother House, Shuvee is welcomed with open arms by her Sparkle, family, friends, and fans who’ve been cheering for her every step of the way,” the caption read.
“We’re so proud of you, Shuvee! Here’s to new adventures, bigger dreams, and brighter days ahead!” it added.
In a separate post, Sparkle shared a video of Shuvee expressing her gratitude to her Sparkle family.
"Thank you, my Sparkle family. I did my best inside that house, I hope I made you all proud. Because of you, I am here. Thank you, my Sparke family. Thank you, Ms. Joy. Thank you so much," said Shuvee.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Tuesday, it was her duo Klarisse De Guzman's fans who sponsored the trip of her parents and siblings from Cebu to Manila.
"Hindi ko alam anong gagawin ko na pagpapasalamat kasi pera po 'yung binigay nila talaga na pagpapalipad and nakita ko po ulit 'yung mga magulang ko after missing them so much inside the house," said Shuvee.
The Sparkle star also said that she and her mom used to just dream of this kind of support for her.
"Pinangarap lang po kasi namin 'to ni mommy before, 'yung ganito po na pag-welcome sa akin. Hindi ko po alam na mamahalin po ako nang ganito," she added.
Shuvee's parents, Jorena and Michael Etrata, also expressed their pride for their daughter.
"Alam naman natin kung anong pinaglalaban, kami alam namin 'yung mga sakripisyo niya, natutuwa kami sa kaniya, tsaka proud ako," said Jorena.
"Natalo man siya sa 'PBB,' panalo pa rin sa 'kin," Michael also said.
Shuvee and her Klarisse were the latest housemates to exit from the "PBB" house.
"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" airs on GMA Network weeknights at 9:35 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:30 p.m.
