Royce Cabrera joins 'Bar Boys' sequel

Royce Cabrera is joining the cast of "Bar Boys: After School!" 

The exciting news was announced on the film's official social media page, accompanied by a photo of the Sparkle actor taken on the first day of filming.

"Day 1 - 'Bar Boys: After School' w/ Royce Cabrera," the caption read.

Directed by Kip Oebanda, "Bar Boys: After School" is the follow-up to the 2017 film "Bar Boys," which followed the journey of four friends through law school. The sequel will explore their lives after graduation as they navigate careers and adulthood.

Royce previously starred in the 2024 Cinemalaya film "Balota," which is also directed by Kip.

Royce is one of the new characters in the sequel alongside Glaiza De Castro, Benedix Ramos, Bryce Eusebio, and Therese Malvar.

It will star Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda, and Kean Cipriano, who are reprising their roles as Torran, Chris, and Josh from the first movie.
