Dustin Yu is keeping his genuine friendship with Bianca De Vera as they return to outside world
Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera may have wrapped up their journey in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," but the bond they built inside the house continues to thrive beyond it.
In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, the Chinito Boss-Sikap ng Quezon City said he is keeping his connection with the Kapamilya star even in the outside world.
“Naka-build na kami ng strong foundation sa loob. At grabe yung friendship na mayroon kami sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. So, for me, wala akong makitang rason kung bakit hindi namin yun dapat ituloy sa labas,” Dustin said.
The Sparkle star added that what he and Bianca have was a “genuine friendship,” and he is happy that they were able to build a strong foundation inside.
“First, genuine friendship siya. Second, we're both happy. I'm happy na naka-build kami ng gano'ng foundation,” he said.
Dustin and Bianca, fondly known as “DustBia,” were among the standout fan ships inside Bahay ni Kuya.
As each other’s final duo, their bond captured attention early on when Dustin confessed his feelings for Bianca. In return, Bianca described Dustin as her “platonic other half,” making their connection a ship anchored in deep friendship.
So beloved by fans, their pairing was even featured on LED billboards across the Philippines, South Korea, and New York.
Dustin and Bianca were the the latest and last housemates to get evicted from Bahay ni Kuya after losing the last Big Jump Challenge to the pair of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca (BreKa).
Mika and Brent now join the previously announced finalists: Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (ChaRes), Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon (RaWi), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer).
The much anticipated Big Night is happening on July 5.
