Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera after 'PBB' exit: 'We have no regrets'
Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera may have exited "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," but they have no regrets because they gave their all until the end.
In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Tuesday, Dustin shared that he and Bianca stayed true tot themselves and faced every challenge they encountered inside Bahay ni Kuya.
"All throughout the season talagang nilaban namin ni Bianca talaga, naging totoo kami, naging matapang kami sa mga challenges. Kung ano man naging result, tanggap namin 'yun ni Bianca," he said.
Bianca echoed the same sentiments, saying she and Dustin tried their best.
"We have no regrets at all because we know that we tried our best. We gave our best, so with that kontento na, okay na po kami," she said.
According to Dustin and Bianca, fondly known as "DustBia," they feel overwhelmed by all the love they've been receiving in the outside world.
They also shared their learnings inside Bahay ni Kuya, with Bianca saying she's learned to love her imperfections despite her shortcomings.
"Pakiramdam ko rin po kasi hindi po dun nagtatapos 'yung growth namin so I guess 'yun, isa po 'yun sa mga natutunan ko, that growth is non-stop," she said.
"Natuto rin kami wag sumuko sa life, sa Bahay ni Kuya, dito ko natutunan talaga na mas patibayin pa 'yung faith ko kay Lord talaga," said Dustin.
Meanwhile, when asked about their relationship status, Dustin answered that what they have now in the outside world is the same as what they have inside "PBB."
"Kung ano man 'yung nasa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, totoo naman 'yun so cinontinue lang naman namin dito sa labas," he said.
The two also hope to have a project together soon, with Dustin expressing his support for Bianca's future endeavors.
"I think it would be a different experience naman to see him in a different environment and to share that common space with him wherein we both share the same passion kasi like cooking and now naman siguro pwede natin ma-try 'yung craft natin sa pag-aarte," added Bianca.
Earlier, Dustin received a heartwarming welcome from his Sparke family, led by GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia.
According to Gozon-Valdes, people were able to see the real Dustin inside Bahay ni Kuya.
"Lahat nga ng nakakausap natin na housemates na nakalabas na ay lahat sinasabi talaga nila na mahal na mahal nilang lahat si Dustin, parang kuya, nila kaya I think nakita rin 'yun ng mga tao," she said.
"Dustin, we're so proud of you and I know you'll be even more successful outside the house," she added.
Dustin and Bianca were the latest housemates to exit "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" after losing the last Big Jump Challenge to the duo of Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca.
Brent and Mika have joined the previously announced finalists, namely Charlie Fleming and Esnyr (CharEs), Will Ashley and Ralph De Leon (RaWi), and AZ Martinez and River Joseph (AzVer).
The highly anticipated Big Night is happening on July 5 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
