Mika Salamanca on Brent Manalo's clapback to Kira Balinger: 'I understand na we could choose better words'

Mika Salamanca defended her duo, Brent Manalo, after being questioned about his clapback to Kira Balinger in the recent Big Tapatan with the duo challengers.

On Wednesday's "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," Brent was informed that some netizens were disappointed with how he answered Kira.

When Kira told Brent that she doesn't know him yet even after his stay in PBB and asked him who he is, Brent turned the question back to her and said no one cares about Kira that's why she got evicted.

Given the opportunity to defend her duo, Mika said, "I understand na we could choose better words pero nung time po kasi na 'yon, sobrang na-bombastic po kami ng lahat ng salita ng housemates na nasa harapan namin."

"And I think 'yun din po kasi 'yung bubog ni Brent and naging vocal naman po siya about doon dito sa loob ng bahay and nagulat lang din po kami sa tanong na 'yon," Mika said.

Brent then gave his thoughts about the emotional toll of hearing comments from the public.

"I hated every second of it. As much as possible, I stay away from reading comments, even the positive ones, kasi ayokong umakyat sa ulo ko din. If tatanungin ako Kuya, kahit nasaktan ako dun sa comment, kahit constructive naman, medyo mahapdi, Kuya," he said.
