Will Ashley starts acting workshop for 'Bar Boys: After School'
After returning to the outside world, Will Ashley is now preparing for his role in "Bar Boys: After School!"
On X (formerly Twitter), Carlo Catu, one of the writers of the sequel, shared some snaps from his acting workshop with Will.
In his post, Catu expressed enthusiasm for Will's role as Arvin.
"Kinukwento pa lang ni Kip Oebanda noon ang 'Bar Boys: After School,' love at excited na ako sa character ni Arvin. Kanina, nadagdagan pa yung feelings na yun nung makita at makaeksena ko pa si [Will Ashley]," he wrote.
In an Instagram Story, Will shared a photo of the script which showed his line as Arvin and said, "Sana mahalin n'yo si Arvin gaya ng pagmamahal ko sa kaniya."
Will auditioned for the role two weeks before entering the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" as a housemate.
His character Arvin is described as a working student who balances his job and law school.
Will is among the new characters in the film, along with Sassa Gurl, Royce Cabrera, Bryce Eusebio, Therese Malvar and Glaiza De Castro.
"Bar Boys: After School" is the sequel of the 2017 film directed by Kip Oebanda.
The sequel will also see Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda, Carlo Aquino and Kean Cipriano reprising their respective roles from the first film.
