AZ Martinez on fan ship with Ralph De Leon: 'Kinikilig ako!'

During her time as a housemate in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition,” AZ Martinez built a close relationship and undeniable chemistry with fellow housemate Ralph De Leon, thus the birth of the fan ship AZRalph.

In an interview with GMA News Online, the fourth big placer said that she feels “kilig” watching all the fan edits of her and Ralph on social media.

“Grabe 'yung ano... I tried scrolling sa TikTok po. Puno ng AZRalph, puno ng AZRalph. Oh my God. Nakikita ko yung mga edits. Ang cute tignan. Of course, kinikilig ako panoorin kasi wow, ang cute. Ganito pala 'yung hitsura,” AZ said. 

The Sparkle star added that she was happy to know that there are people supporting her and Ralph.

“Patuloy pa rin 'yung laban and I know Ralph deserves so much. Pero ayun, thank you so much. Sobrang grateful kami ni Ralph sa lahat ng AZRalph. Sa AZRalph official, sobrang thank you po,” she said. 

AZRalph is among the most popular fanships that blossomed in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.” 

AZ and Ralph started out as the RAZ duo and their closeness eventually led to them getting teased often. Both of them later denied having feelings for each other, but how they continue to act towards each other and be there for each other makes fans wish that the ship would sail.

Among their most iconic and viral moments are when they got drunk on separate occasions and sought each other out. And of course, their reunion after Ralph's eviction and dramatic wildcard comeback gripped the nation after a week-long wait.

Following the conclusion of PBB, AZ and Ralph captured their first-ever selfie together outside the house, sparking kilig vibes among their loyal fans. 

Ralph and his duo Will Ashley (RaWi) finished as the second big placer duo during the Big Night, while AZ and her duo River Joseph (AZVer) were named as the fourth big placer. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
