Who is Anthony Constantino? 5 things to know about Sparkle's 'TDH' heartthrob
Anthony Constantino is slowly carving out a name for himself as a multihyphenate worth keeping an eye on.
With his growing presence in modeling, his thoughtful return to his Filipino roots, and his mix of brains, brawn, and heart, there's more to the rising Sparkle star than what meets the eye.
Here are five fun facts you should know about Anthony, the TDH suitor of PBB ex-housemate and "Unang Hirit" host Shuvee Etrata.
1. Born in California
Anthony is a pure Filipino, but he was born and raised in California, far from the daily rhythms of Filipino culture, and admitted that he grew up unfamiliar with many traditions.
He got to wear his first barong when he modeled for Team Philippines' 2024 Paris Olympics campaign, wearing a creation designed by Francis Libiran.
"Wearing my first barong and celebrating my Filipino heritage is a testament to how far I've come and how much I've grown. Grateful for the journey and excited for what lies ahead here in the Philippines!" he said.
2. A rising model
Anthony shared in a VMAN Southeast Asia feature that his modeling career began as a part-time job in 2022, which was soon followed by more, including the Olympics modeling gig.
On his Instagram page, Anthony shares more of his recent projects with more and more brands and campaigns.
3. A double degree holder
Beyond his modeling career, Anthony is a double degree holder in Computer Information Systems and Business Marketing.
In a feature on Parcinq, he said that he chose one of his degrees as a "safety net" but also something that genuinely fits him.
Anthony also has experience working at Apple, and he enjoys being "very hands-on."
4. 6'1 baller who loves the beach life
Sports play a big role in Anthony's lifestyle, with basketball as his top favorite, which is no longer a surprise given his towering 6'1" frame.
According to a special feature on GMA Network's YouTube page, beyond the court, Anthony is also big on staying active and soaking up the outdoors, often heading to the beach for quick escapes and workouts under the sun.
"Staying in shape is a priority for Anthony," GMA Network said.
5. A gentle giant
While Anthony might be known for his athletic build and camera-ready looks, he's also got a soft spot that fans are loving: he's great with kids!
In a past video, he was seen bonding with his young cousins, Max and Summer, mid-workout, even carrying them on his back while doing push-ups. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
