Alden Richards, David Licauco, Bianca Umali praise Barbie Forteza's performance in 'P77'
Kapuso stars Alden Richards, David Licauco, and Bianca Umali were all praises for Barbie Forteza's performance in the horror film "P77."
According to Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Tuesday, Alden, David, and Bianca were among the celebrities who attended the movie's premiere night on Monday.
Alden was aware of the challenges Barbie faced in her role, per the report, since "P77" was filmed at the same time they were working on "Pulang Araw" together.
"Ang laki ng demand sa lead character, but she was able to deliver it flawlessly. This film says a lot about her acting skills and range, so congratulations nakaka-proud ka, Barbs," said Alden.
David, for his part, expressed his pride for Barbie.
"I've never seen that side of her. I'm really, really proud of her," he said.
Previously, David had praised Barbie's performance on X (formerly Twitter) and called himself "a fan."
Bianca also shared that Barbie "delivered" in her role, adding, "Nakakatuwa kasi bagong flavor siya sa pelikula kaya dapat siyang mapanood ng mga tao."
Other personalities who graced the premiere night were Dustin Yu, Josh Ford, Jameson Blake, Bianca Umali, Sam Concepcion, Jessica Soho, and Atom Araullo
Director Derick Cabrido and GMA Pictures Executive Vice President and GMA Public Affairs Senior Vice President Nessa Valdellon were also in attendance, as well as cast members Gina Pareño, Jackie Lou Blanco, Carlos Siguion-Reyna, JC Alcantara, and Euwenn Mikaell.
"P77" is produced by GMA Pictures and Clever Minds Inc. It is written by Enrico Santos, and the story is by Anj Atienza and Xtian Julao.
It will finally open in Philippine cinemas on Wednesday, July 30.
