Mikee Quintos on fans’ love for Lira and Mira in ‘Sang’gre’: ‘Sobrang grateful forever’

Mikee Quintos is feeling the warmth of the audience’s love, especially from long-time fans of "Encantadia" for her iconic role as Lira in “Sang’gre.”

On the sidelines of GMA Gala 2025, the Sparkle star acknowledged viewers’ overwhelming support for the Kapuso fantaserye’s Lira and Mira (Kate Valdez).

Mikee told GMA News Online that she is “sobrang grateful forever” about how their fans embraced their roles.

“Alam naman ng mga Encantadiks kung gaano ko sila kamahal, so thank you po!” Mikee said.

She also seemingly teased fans that more exciting episodes will unfold, focusing on Devas or the equivalent of heaven in the show.

“Abangan niyo ho ano pang mangyayari sa Devas!” Mikee cheekily said.

Lira and Mira’s tragic end was witnessed by “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre” viewers in June, breaking the hearts of those who loved the princesses.

On Monday’s episode, Lira and Mira’s arrival in Devas was teased, with Lira reuniting with her parents.
