Jillian Ward begins taping for ‘Never Say Die,’ reunites with Raheel Bhyria

Jillian Ward is back to work as she begins taping for “Never Say Die.”

In Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Jillian expressed her excitement, saying how much she missed the energy of being on set.

“Iba po talaga ‘yung energy kapag nasa set. Hindi ko ma-explain na parang makikita mo ‘yung mga katrabaho mo, ta’s parang everybody's doing their best. Parang ang sarap sa feeling, parang super nakaka-energize ‘yung vibe,” she said.

Jillian got to reunite with Raheel Bhyria, who will play the role of a gadget expert.

“Sobrang masaya ako na naka-work ko ulit si Jill kasi it's very easy to work with her. Parang nakawork ko na kasi sa ‘MBR,’ sa ‘Abot-Kamay,'” Raheel said.

Beyond their on-screen collaboration, Jillian and Raheel are known for creating TikTok content during their free time, much to the delight of netizens.

“Masaya kami na marami pong natutuwa din sa mga post namin. Kasi ‘yung mga post namin, very spontaneous lang. Like kapag nagkikita kami wala, tara TikTok tayo,” Jillian said.

“Never Say Die” will also star David Licauco, who earlier revealed he is undergoing extensive training including arnis and boxing for the upcoming action series.

Other cast members include Kim Ji Soo, Richard Yap, Gina Alajar, Raymart Santiago, Angelu De Leon, Wendell Ramos, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Analyn Barro, Tanjo Villoso, and Michelle Dee. 

Jillian recently starred in "My Ilonggo Girl" and appeared on "Mga Batang Riles," while David starred in "Pulang Araw" and also has a guest appearance on "Beauty Empire." — Carby Basina/LA, GMA Integrated News
