Dingdong Dantes to lead upcoming Kapuso series ‘Master Cutter’ with Max Collins, Shuvee Etrata

Dingdong Dantes is making an acting comeback on television!

The Kapuso Primetime King will be starring in the upcoming Kapuso series “Master Cutter,” an action series that follows the story of Anthony (Dingdong), a former scout ranger turned lowkey-tailor who secretly lives a double life as an elite hunter or man tracker. 

Aside from Dingdong, the series will also feature Max Collins who will play his love interest, and Shuvee Etrata who will play a character secretly harboring feelings for Dingdong's Anthony.

Other cast members include Sienna Stevens, Paolo Contis, Jo Berry, Charlie Fleming, and more. It is directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata.

The show already had a story conference on Tuesday.

“Master Cutter” marks Dingdong’s TV comeback in a lead role, after 2023's “Royal Blood,” where he played the role of Napoy Royales. He previously made a special appearance in “Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law.” 

Meanwhile, Max recently appeared in the GMA Afternoon Prime series “Akusada.” 

Shuvee, on the other hand, was among the 20 housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." She currently appears in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Veshdita, a Mine-a-ve warrior. — LA, GMA Integrated News
