Maris Racal undergoes appendectomy surgery

Maris Racal has undergone appendectomy surgery.

The actress updated her Instagram followers by posting some photos of herself in the hospital and wearing a hospital gown.

“Congrats, it’s an appendix!” Maris joked.

She expressed her gratitude to the surgeon, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who cared for her, as well as to her little sister for looking after her.

“Still on the road to recovery. Rarampa muli,” Maris added.

Well wishes from fans and fellow celebrities such as Zeinab Harake quickly flooded Maris’ comment section.

Maris stars in the titular role of “ Sunshine ,” directed by acclaimed filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone. She previously appeared in “ Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition ” as a house guest.
