'The Clash': Nef Medina believes in God's plan for him after elimination
Nef Medina is keeping his head held high after his “The Clash” journey, and that is because of his strong faith in God.
The livestreamer and Clashbacker from Bacoor, Cavite is the latest hopeful to be eliminated from the singing competition.
In an interview with GMA News Online, Nef said he previously thought he would be evicted earlier on. But in a prayer he said off-camera, he said, “Lord, kung para sa ‘kin naman ‘to, thank You.
While he's saddened by the turn of events, Nef maintains his faith in God.
On social media, he made sure to thank his fans and supporters. "Nef Medina signing off," he wrote.
Nef looked back on his time on “The Clash,” and said the biggest challenge was that he was not ready for the twists and turns this season had. He also felt intimidated by all the birit singers.
His biggest achievement, meanwhile, is “mas natanggap ko ‘yung pagiging professional singer ko after nung season two ng ‘The Clash’ and ngayon na nandito ako ulit.
Should he have won, Nef said he would have used the prize money for his mother’s dialysis and to help his father have an early retirement. He would have also wanted to use the opportunity to be a regular on GMA Network programs like “All-Out Sundays.”
In a previous interview, Nef described his “The Clash” journey as the song “One More Day” by Sons of Sunday. He said that this season was “another chance to be a testimony na parang, meron pang plano para sa ‘kin si Lord.”
