Melai Cantiveros' daughters Stela, Mela get hospitalized while on vacation in Mindoro

What was supposed to be a fun vacation in Mindoro turned out to be a trip to the hospital for Melai Cantiveros and her kids, Mela and Stella.

On social media, the actress and comedienne shared snaps of their hospital stay.

“Vacation turned into hospital Staycation,” she wrote in her caption.

According to Melai, her youngest child, Stela, initially contracted the flu, and during a check-up, it was discovered that she also had a urinary tract infection (UTI). Meanwhile, Mela was dealing with a sore throat.

“So the best silang dalawa sinubra ang pag enjoy sa vacation nila,” Melai said. 

Melai assured fans that her kids are now OK. 

“Thank you Lord na ok na aking Ate and Baby. [You're] the Best God,” she said. 

Mela and Stela are Melai’s kids to husband Jason Francisco whom she met while they were housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up” in 2009. The couple got married in 2013.

Melai served as one of the hosts of the historic “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” which aired on GMA Network from March to July.
