Shuvee Etrata, Michael Sager, more Sparkle artists to star in upcoming horror film 'Huwag Kang Titingin'

Former “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemates Shuvee Etrata, Charlie Fleming, Michael Sager, and Josh Ford, as well as other Sparkle artists are set to star in the upcoming horror movie “Huwag Kang Titingin.” 

At a story conference on Thursday, it was confirmed that the other cast members include Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Marco Masa, Sean Lucas, and Anthony Constantino, aside from the former "PBB" housemates. Shuvee and Charlie were unable to attend the story con due to prior commitments. 

According to director Frasco Mortiz, “Huwag Kang Titingin” is a horror film that weaponizes Filipinos' modern obsession with viral internet challenges and mashes it with deep-rooted folkloric fear. 

The film is co-produced by GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc. 

GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc. also held a contract signing on Thursday to bring the new horror film to cinemas soon. 

Present at the contract signing were GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA Senior Vice President for Public Affairs Nessa Valdellon and Mentorque Productions Inc. Chief Executive Officer John Bryan Diamante.

Gozon-Valdes had expressed her excitement over the partnership with Mentorque Productions Inc., which is known for producing the award-winning films “Mallari,” “Kono Basho,” and “Uninvited.” 

“We have a great story, an exciting cast, and a very strong partner in Mentorque,” she said. “I think that it's our honor to be a partner of Mentor. This is our first venture together."
