Michael Sager on being dubbed as ‘president’ of 'PBB' ships: ‘It’s an honor’

Michael Sager has been dubbed by several fans of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" as the “president” of all ships inside the house.

In an interview with GMA News Online during the story conference of “Huwag Kang Titingin” on Thursday, Michael said it was an “honor” to be called one by the fans.

“It’s an honor. Wow. Diyos ko, Lord!” he shared.

According to the Sparkle star, he enjoyed all the relationships they created while inside the house, and seeing these prosper in the outside world makes him happy.

“Kumbaga, it was all for fun and seeing it now prosper sa outside world na talagang nabubuo 'yung mga fandom nila, natutuwa ako,” Michael shared.

“Kung naging president pa ako at nagsimula pa noon, wala naman, hindi ko naman iniisip. Parang for me, I'm just with them, supporting them in their journey together or solos." 

Michael added that he is happy for all the fan ships and wishes them all the best.

When asked who among the "PBB" ships he likes the most, he picked his fan ship with Emilio Daez, dubbed as “MiLi,

“Siyempre MiLi. Michael and Emilio, pinaka-ship ko ‘yun!” he quipped. 

The four-month run of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” saw the rise of popular fan ships such as WillCa (Will Ashley-Bianca De Vera), AzRalph (Az Martinez-Ralph De Leon), MikBrent (Mika Salamanca-Brent Manalo), among others.

Meanwhile, MiLi delivered one of the strongest bromances of the season. Even before they became a duo, they already formed a friendship that only got stronger when they officially became a duo.

"PBB" concluded its iconic season on July 5 with the duo of Mika and Brent (BreKa) being named as the Big Winner.
