Black Eyed Peas says Manila concert ‘feels like coming home’

The Black Eyed Peas are nothing short of grateful for the warm welcome back to the Philippines.

After their show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday, the iconic group took to Instagram to share their experience, which they said felt like “coming home.”

“Being here with our brother [Apl.de.Ap] feels like coming home for us too. Connecting with his roots, with where it all began, reminds us of our story and the love that holds us together,” the band said.

“Without him, there would be no us! Thank you for sharing Coach Apl with us all those years ago,” they added. “And now, another sister in [J.Rey Soul].”

J.Rey Soul, who hails from Laguna, has been the band's singer since 2018 following the departure of Fergie.

The Black Eyed Peas said they were overwhelmed “to feel your love and your warm welcome again” after six years, and said that their hearts are full.

Aside from the show, Apl.de.Ap brought his fellow members to his hometown in Pampanga.

The Black Eyed Peas are famous for the hit songs "I Gotta Feeling," "Pump It," and "Where is the Love?"
