Kim Ji Soo begins taping for 'Never Say Die' starring Jillian Ward, David Licauco
Kim Ji Soo has started taping for the upcoming Kapuso action-drama project "Never Say Die," which is headlined by Jillian Ward and David Licauco.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Tuesday, the new project is also a reunion for Ji Soo with his "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap" co-stars Jillian and Raheel Bhyria.
"It feels very exciting because since it's [a] new project and [a] new character, meeting new people is always very fresh to me," said Ji Soo.
Jillian also expressed her excitement for the new project, as it will see her show a new side to her acting chops.
"I'm very excited kasi alam ko po na bagong experience talaga 'to for me marami akong matututunan," she shared.
"It's my first year as an adult, 20 na 'ko, hindi na teengaer so na-e-excite po ako kasi feeling ko mas may lalim po siya. Mas may angas, mas unapologetic ang character ko."
Jillian added that the series is suitable for all types of viewers, saying, "May halo siyang drama, may halo siyang comedy, kumbaga lahat pwedeng manood po nito and parang na-co-cover niya lahat ng genres halos."
Earlier in August, Jillian shared that she and David have to take up intense training in arnis, knife fighting, and gun handling for the project.
Other cast members include Richard Yap, Gina Alajar, Raymart Santiago, Angelu De Leon, Wendell Ramos, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Analyn Barro, Tanjo Villoso, and Michelle Dee.
