Cristopher Diwata of ‘What hafen, Vella’ fame marks first biz franchise
Cristopher Diwata, the man behind the viral catchphrase “What hafen, Vella” has purchased a food stall business franchise, made possible by the financial opportunities brought about by his online fame.
On Threads, Cristopher shared a video of himself visiting the location of his food stall, and wrote in the caption, “Visiting our first family franchise business.”
The post drew praise from netizens, including food content creator Icoy Rapadas, who congratulated him.
“So happy to see you being smart with your money,” another user wrote.
This business move follows other milestones for Christopher, including purchasing his family’s first car and appearing in the GMA series “Mga Batang Riles.”
Twelve years ago, Cristopher joined the "It's Showtime" segment Kalokalike as Taylor Lautner, the Jacob Black of the "Twilight" films. A video clip of his performance resurfaced earlier this year and went viral on social media.
Since then, he has collaborated with brands, artists, and content creators who joined the trend sparked by his iconic lines.
