Did showbiz rob Julie Anne San Jose of her childhood? Limitless Star answers
Does Julie Anne San Jose think that showbiz robbed her of her childhood?
On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Limitless Star admitted that she had experienced wanting to leave the industry.
“Siguro ‘yung times na ‘yon, kapagka kunwari, feeling ko na hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan or hanggang saan ba ‘to, like ano pa ba ‘yung kailangan kong gawin. And ako, kahit na nahanap ko na ‘yung purpose ko in life, feeling ko parang may gusto pa rin kasi akong gawin but I don’t know until when,” she said.
When asked if she thinks her childhood was stolen away from her, having entered the industry at only three years old, Julie Anne said, “Parang hindi naman.”
For Julie, she had a very interesting childhood.
“Bata pa lang kasi ako, talagang sumasali na ako ng mga pageants, singing contests, ganiyan. Kapag kunwari sa school, lagi akong pinapakanta ‘pag mga school programs and stuff like that,” she said.
The Sparkle star thinks that she was exposed early to the showbiz industry.
“Kaya siguro nasanay na din ako na this is what I want to be when I grow up. Kasi ‘yung parents ko, especially my grandmother, sinabi niya na gusto niya akong maging artista someday kasi may potential ka,” she said.
Julie assured, “Happy talaga ako sa ginagawa ko.”
Julie is set to be one of the coaches of "The Voice Kids Philippines" Season 3 alongside Billy Crawford, Zack Tabudlo, and Paolo and Miguel Benjamin Guico of "Ben&Ben."
It will premiere on GMA Network on September 14.
