Jericho Rosales' Manuel Quezon, John Arcilla's Heneral Luna 'meet' in 'Illegal' TikTok video

A heroic meet-up just happened!

Jericho Rosales and John Arcilla linked up and did the “Illegal” trend, as seen in TBA Studios'  Instagram video.

Set to the tune of the popular PinkPantheress song, the two actors shook hands, with Arcilla labeled as the "phenomenal beginning of Bayaniverse," and Rosales as the "epic conclusion of Bayaniverse."

“Heneral meets Mr. President!” TBA Studios said in their caption.

John portrayed Antonio Luna in “Heneral Luna,” while Jericho is Manuel L. Quezon in the upcoming “Quezon” film.

In its first trailer, "Quezon" gave key scenes and highlights from the tumultuous political life of the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944, portrayed by Jericho Rosales.

The trailer described Quezon as someone skilled at playing politics and shows snippets of his campaigns to become President, with him declaring, "I will lead this nation into prosperity."

Joining Jericho in the film are Benjamin Alves as Young Manuel L. Quezon and Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo, reprising their roles from "Heneral Luna" and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral."

Iain Glen of the hit fantasy television series "Game of Thrones" joins "Quezon" as Leonard Wood. Arron Villaflor also returns to the "Bayaniverse" as Joven Hernando, with Cris Villanueva playing the role of the older Joven Hernando.

The ensemble cast also includes Romnick Sarmenta as Sergio Osmeña, Karylle as Aurora Quezon, JC Santos as Manuel Roxas, and Jake Macapagal as Manuel Nieto.

Produced by TBA Studios with the support of the Film Development Council of the Philippines and CreatePHFilms, "Quezon" is set to hit the Philippine cinemas on October 15.

"Quezon" is the third installment of TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse," which is preceded by "Heneral Luna" (2015) and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" (2018).
