Angie Mead King meets Formula 1's Lewis Hamilton up close in Italy

Angie Mead King just had a close encounter with Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton in Italy!

On Instagram, the car enthusiast shared a reel of herself waiting for the seven-time Formula 1 world champion to walk by the Ferrari hospitality area during the Italian Grand Prix weekend in Monza.

When the Ferrari driver passed, Angie waved and said, "Good luck, Lewis," to which he responded with a smile and a wave.

Last Friday, Angie and her wife, Joey Mead King, were also spotted on the live broadcast of the Italian Grand Prix's first free practice session.

Angie and Joey have been married since 2011. Five years later, Angie publicly came out as transgender .
