Marvin Agustin shows support to Jolina Magdangal in 'Walang Aray' musical
Marvin Agustin just showed his support to his former love team Jolina Magdangal!
On Instagram, the actor shared a reel of him attending and watching Jolina's "Walang Aray" musical. As seen in the video, Marvin gave Jolina a bouquet of flowers.
In his post, Marvin expressed how proud he is of Jolina.
"I am so, so, so proud of my labtim, Jolina! Theater acting is such a different discipline, and I admire her so much for taking it on with courage and grace," Marvin wrote.
"Seeing her sing again on stage as Juana was such a joy—what a powerful and heartfelt performance," he added.
In return, Jolina thanked him in the comment section and said that she has a lot of stories to share.
"Oh Labtim! Dami akong kuwento... gusto ko na nga simulan kagabi pero late na! Haha! Maraming salamat!" she said.
Produced by the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), "Walang Aray" is a modern adaptation of Severino Reyes' zarzuela "Walang Sugat."
The show will run until October 12 at the PETA Theater Center.
The Marvin-Jolina tandem was one of the Philippines' most popular love teams in the '90s. Among their most famous films include "Hey Babe!" and "Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang?"
The former on-screen couple recently reunited for the movie "Ex Ex Lovers" which also starred Loisa Andalio, JK Labajo, Judy Ann Santos, Mylene Dizon, and many more.
The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
