'Bubble Gang' teases Betong Sumaya, Matt Lozano's characters in Ciala Dismaya parody

It's not just Ciala Dismaya, played by Michael V., who will feature in "Bubble Gang's" newest parody this Sunday. 

On social media, the long-running Kapuso comedy show teased two characters featuring in the parody, played by "Bubble Gang" mainstays Betong Sumaya and Matt Lozano. 

In the short clip, Betong can be seen wearing a wig, glasses, and a suit, while Matt sported a white polo, glasses, and a moustache. 

Betong tells Matt, "Safe ka na. Safe na safe ka na. Joke lang ah, nagbibiro lang ako." 

The skit was reminiscent of the exchange between Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Rodante Marcoleta during the Senate blue ribbon committee hearing on the controversial flood control projects Monday. 

Estrada had asked Curlee Discaya if any senators were involved in the supposed anomalous infrastructure projects, to which the latter answered in the negative. 

"Safe ka na," Marcoleta then told Estrada. 

"Bubble Gang's" Ciala Dismaya parody is an unmistakable reference to Sarah Discaya, who, along with husband Curlee, is among the contractors at the center of the ongoing issue of anomalous government flood control projects.

According to "Bubble Gang," there will be three sketches on Ciala Dismaya, all written by Michael V. himself. 

The “Bubble Gang” episode featuring Ciala Dismaya is set to air on September 14 at 6:10 p.m. on GMA Network.
