Joyce Ching recalls reason for breakup with Kristoffer Martin

Joyce Ching recalled that immaturity and their young age were the primary reasons why she and former "Tween Hearts" co-star Kristoffer Martin broke up back then.

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Joyce reflected on their past relationship, which initially stemmed from their professional pairing as a love team.

“I guess, immaturity. Kasi ang bata pa rin po namin. I think we were too young to be in a relationship. Hindi talaga namin naiintindihan what it means at saan ba talaga papunta ang mga relationships. Kasi as a love team, ‘di ba, siyempre everyone na naka-surround sa 'min, talagang pinu-push kami together,” she said.

Joyce added that they developed feelings for each other because they were always together.

“‘Yung mga eksena namin, sweet-sweet,” she said.

When asked if they constantly fought, Joyce said, “Hindi naman po sobra. Parang hindi naman masyado. Pero, I think, ano lang talaga, immature kami to handle.”

Joyce is married to Kevin Alimon. They have one child together.

Meanwhile, Kristoffer is married to AC Banzon with one daughter.

Kristoffer currently stars in “Cruz vs. Cruz.”
