Mika Salamanca, Shuvee Etrata head to the big screen in MMFF movie of Vice Ganda, Nadine Lustre
Mika Salamanca and Shuvee Etrata are bringing their acting chops to the big screen!
The Sparkle stars are set to star in the upcoming 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Call Me Mother,” top-billed by Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre.
On Instagram, Sparkle shared a behind-the-scenes photo taken by film director Jun Robles Lana, featuring Mika, Shuvee, and their fellow “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemates Brent Manalo, Esnyr Ranollo, and Klarisse De Guzman as they began filming for the upcoming movie.
“From the PBB house to the big screen. Sparkle stars Mika Salamanca and Shuvee Etrata, with Brent Manalo, Esnyr, and Klarisse de Guzman, kick off their first taping day for ‘Call Me Mother’— an MMFF 2025 entry starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre,” the caption read.
Mika, Shuvee, Klarisse, Esnyr, Brent and Klarisse are all part of the core group called Pamilya De Guzman, alongside fellow Sparkle star Will Ashley. They previously launched an Instagram broadcast channel that has now over 1 million subscribers.
Mika, Shuvee, Will, and Esnyr will also serve as special guests at Klarisse's "The Big Night" concert on September 26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
