Sung Hoon learns Filipino phrases from Tito Boy
South Korean actor Sung Hoon had a fun cultural exchange with Boy Abunda as he was taught a few Filipino expressions during their conversation.
On Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the King of Talk introduced Sung Hoon to the phrases “Maliit na bagay,” “Keribells,” “Saan banda?” and “Wow! Hiyang-hiya naman ako,” explaining when each is typically used.
To practice, the two performed a short skit where Sung Hoon applied the phrases in context.
The actor even delivered the lines with matching emotions, showcasing his playful side.
This visit marks Sung Hoon’s third time in the Philippines.
He shared that Cebu is his favorite destination in the country, while sisig remains his top choice among Filipino dishes.
Sung Hoon also expressed his desire to work with Marian Rivera and Alden Richards.
Aside from “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Sung Hoon also appeared in “Unang Hirit,” where he cooked Korean beef stew.
Sung Hoon is known for starring in “My Secret Romance,” “Perfect Marriage Revenge,” and “Oh My Venus.”
