Dingdong Dantes, Kim Atienza, more stars join run against corruption
Dingdong Dantes and Kim Atienza organized a run against corruption in Ayala in Makati City on Sunday, September 21.
The run was attended by fellow celebrities Benjamin Alves, Faith Da Silva, Dasuri Choi, Kim Molina, and Jerald Napoles, among others.
In the photos, the runners can be seen wearing a black tank top with phrases that call against corruption.
"Not our usual Sunday run. Today, our small community gathered not just for distance, but with prayer and intention," Dingdong wrote in the caption.
"We hoped. We dreamed. For a corrupt-free Philippines. For accountability from those who have stolen from us. And for those attending the big rallies, we lifted them up in prayer as well," he added.
Dingdong also said that through this run they were able to express their grievances and hopes for the country.
The "Trillion Peso March" rally is currently being held in the People Power Monument, while the "Baha sa Luneta: Aksyon na Laban sa Korapsyon" rally is now happening at the Rizal Park in Manila.
The protests were triggered by the alleged anomalous flood control projects currently being probed in Congress and the Senate.
