Blackpink's Rose, Bruno Mars react to 'Philippines is proud of you' tarpaulin

Rose of Blackpink and Bruno Mars couldn't help but laugh at a tarpaulin of them from the Philippines.

In his Instagram Stories, Bruno posted a photo of a tarpaulin congratulating him and Rose for winning Song of the Year for “APT.” at the MTV Video Music Awards.

It read, “Philippines is proud of you.”

An amused Bruno reacted with a laughing emoji, and used The Black Eyed Peas' song "Bebot." Rose reposted his IG Story and added “My hubba hubs.”

“Philippines is proud of you” has been a popular meme recently. The phrase is normally featured on tarpaulins of foreign artists and personalities winning awards or achieving other goals.

“APT.” was released in 2024, and instantly became a giant hit song.

Rosé dropped her debut solo album "Rosie" in December 2024. It includes the songs “Number One Girl” and “Toxic ‘Till the End.”

Meanwhile, Bruno’s recent songs include being featured in “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and “Fat Juicy & Wet” with Sexyy Red.
