Who is Kirk Bondad? 5 things to know about the new Mister International

Kirk Bondad is making waves online following his successful Mister International 2025 stint.

But there is more to the model and fitness trainer that meets the eye—the pageant veteran has shown his hard work through the years, which led to some wins and some losses.

Here are five things to know about Kirk:

1. German with Igorot roots

Kirk is a Filipino-German, and is one of the most in-demand models in the country. His mother is an Igorot named Jane from Mountain Province, and Kirk is proud of his roots.

In Mister World 2024, he paid tribute to his Igorot roots with his national costume, showcasing a red bahag with a feathered headdress, figure of the rice god, and held weapons made of water buffalo materials. His attire was created by Cordilleran designer Andrew Visaya Jr.

He also represented Baguio in Mister Pilipinas 2025.

2. Veteran pageant king

The new Mister International is no stranger to the pageant stage.

Before his win, Kirk competed in Mister World. He was given the title in 2022, but the pageant was postponed to 2024. He finished in the Top 20.

He was also named Mister Pilipinas International in 2025, representing Baguio.

3. Younger brother of Clint Bondad

Kirk is the youngest brother of Clint Bondad, model, actor — and Catriona Gray's ex. Clint had shown support for the Miss Universe 2018 queen when she competed in the international pageant.

They confirmed their breakup in 2019.

Clint has appeared in shows like “Love You Two,” “Tadhana,” “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko,” and “Magpakailanman.”

4. High-profile exes

Kirk was in a relationship with Kathleen Paton, who was named Miss Eco International 2022. However, he announced in a statement in 2023 that they had broken up.

“While it's never easy to part ways with someone you care about deeply, we both knew that it was the best thing for us at this time,” Kirk wrote.
 
He also used to date “Pinoy Big Brother” contestant Lou Yanong. She accompanied him to the airport when he flew to Vietnam for Mister World 2024. However, netizens noticed that Lou no longer follows Kirk on Instagram, prompting breakup rumors.

5. Century Tuna Superbods in 2022

Kirk was named the grand winner of the fitness competition Century Tuna Superbods in 2022, and won P500,000. The competition sees participants transform into the best versions of themselves and to promote a healthy lifestyle.

In an Instagram post, Kirk said that he was disqualified from the 2020 edition, but it ended up being “one of the best things that happened to me.”
 
Following his win, he said, “Everything happens for a reason, no matter how bad it might feel. Maybe in that moment of pain it’s impossible to reason with a loss, but eventually, the moment of realization will come, and just like that everything will make sense.” —JCB, GMA Integrated News
