Filipina actress Noreen Joyce Guerra to star in upcoming K-Drama 'Ms. Incognito'

Filipina actress Noreen Joyce Guerra is set to appear alongside actress Jeon Yeo Been and B1A4’s Jinyoung in the K-Drama “Ms. Incognito,” taking on the supporting role of Jenny.

Jenny becomes a pillar of support for Young Ran, played by Jeon Yeo Been, a former bodyguard who takes on the false identity of Bu Se Mi while hiding in a remote village. As Young Ran begins her new life, Jenny and the other local villagers help her adjust to rural life, but are unaware of her real identity.

"Being part of a mainstream K-Drama alongside such talented and respected actors truly feels like a dream come true," Noreen said in a statement.

Noreen added that portraying Jenny is “especially meaningful” as it is the first time she is portraying a Filipino character in a K-Drama.

"I'm incredibly grateful to our director and writer for trusting me with this role and giving me the opportunity to represent Filipino talent in Korean drama.”

“I’m very much excited for viewers to see Jenny’s evolving relationships with both Young Ran and Dong Min (Jinyoung) as the story unfolds,” she added.

Originally from the Philippines, Noreen moved to South Korea in 2015 to pursue her graduate studies. She later ventured into acting, breaking into the competitive Korean entertainment industry through supporting and minor roles in dramas, movies, and commercials. “Ms. Incognito” marks a significant chapter in Noreen’s career.

Over the years, she has appeared in more than 100 K-Dramas, including the popular ones like “True Beauty,” “All of Us Are Dead,” “The Glory,” “Big Bet, “The Killer’s Shopping List,” and “Hospital Playlist.”

“Ms. Incognito” follows Kim Young Ran, a female bodyguard who enters into a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol heir. To protect him and his vast fortune, she adopts a new identity and moves to a quiet countryside town. There, she becomes a kindergarten teacher under the name Bu Se Mi and tries to evade those plotting to seize the inheritance.

Jinyoung plays Jeon Dong Min, a sincere and compassionate single father who runs a strawberry farm in the village. As his path crosses with Young Ran’s, an unexpected and emotionally charged connection begins to form.

“Ms. Incognito” is set to premiere on Channel ENA on September 29, airing every Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. Korea time. It also airs on TVING, GenieTV, LGU+ in Korea, and select international streaming platforms. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
