SB19 Justin admits getting nervous for Ec’naad role in ‘Sang’gre’

SB19's Justin De Dios admitted getting nervous when he was offered to play the role of Ec’naad in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”

In an exclusive interview with GMA Network, the P-pop star said that acting is new to him due to his lack of experience.

“At first, kinabahan po ako kasi wala akong experience talaga sa acting eh. It's something different,” Justin shared.

However, Justin said he was also excited to play Ec’naad because acting is something that he has always wanted to try. 

“Na-excite [ako] because it's something different. It's something that I wanted to try din even before pa.” 

As he takes on the role of the gatekeeper of Devas, the singer assured viewers that he would work hard to prove that he deserves his role.

“Nakakagulat lang din kasi, 'yun nga, wala naman kaming background sa acting pero nabigyan ako ng opportunity for this one. So, I think that I should take it and kailangan ko lang mag-work hard para masabi kong deserve ko 'yung role na ‘to.” 

On Monday, Justin made his first appearance in the Kapuso series as Ec’naad, the gatekeeper of Devas.

His debut immediately became a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter) and claimed two spots.

Previously, Justin shared with GMA Integrated News that he took acting lessons and fight training for his role.
