Twice's Jeongyeon to skip Bulacan leg of 'This is For' tour due to health reasons

Sad news for Filo ONCEs: you will not be seeing Jeongyeon at Twice’s “This is For” concert in Bulacan this weekend.

In a statement on Thursday, JYP Entertainment announced that the K-pop star will be skipping the show due to “health reasons.”

“We sincerely apologize to all the fans who have been waiting for this concert and are truly sorry to deliver such disappointing news,” the statement read.

The agency added that Jeongyeon’s health and recovery is their utmost priority.

“We kindly ask for your understanding. We are always grateful for the tremendous love and support you give to TWICE, and once again, we deeply apologize for the sadness and disappointment this may cause.”

The “This is For” show is happening on October 4 at the Philippine Arena.

The world tour is in support of the group's fourth album of the same name, which was released on July 11.

Twice was in Manila in June 2024 for a fan meeting. They also held a two-night concert at the Philippine Arena in September 2023 as part of their "Ready to Be" world tour.

Twice, which debuted in 2015 under JYP Entertainment, comprises  Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyuoung, and Tzuyu.

The group is celebrating their 10th anniversary with the release of a special album featuring 10 tracks including nine solo songs by each of the members. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA Integrated News
