Who is Mclaude Guadaña, the basketball player Rita Daniela is 'exclusively dating'?

Rita Daniela just confirmed that she and Mclaude Guadaña are "exclusively dating."

Mclaude is a basketball player, who plays for the Lyceume of the Philippines University Pirates. Last month, he accompanied Rita as she received her Best Actress Trophy at the Sinag Maynila festival, shortly after they were seen looking cozy and happy at her birthday party.  

In case you're wondering who Mclaude is, below are some fast facts.

1. The basics. 24-year-old Mclaude Guadana was born on April 29, 2001, making him a Taurus. He is all of 6'11 tall. 

2. He's a baller. Mclaude plays for the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates as a guard, although he is out this season for an injury.

In the last season however, he clocked in impressive stats: 11.77 points, 3.85 rebounds, 2..38 assists, and 1.31 steals per game.

Quite the LPU standout, Mclaude was also among the select few who played for the country as part of the Batang Gilas Program.

Among the tournaments he participated in are 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup, 2018 FIBA U16 Asian Championship, and 2016 SEABA U16 Asian Championship.

3. A model. Mclaude's height is good for other things besides basketball. At the recently concluded Bench Fashion Week, he walked the runway for Cotton On.

In 2024, he also took part of Sparkle's Boys of Summer campaign.

4. A businessman. Mclaude tried his hand in business, opening a restaurant with friends in the thick of the pandemic, back in 2021. They called it Delantera Restaurant and it's located in Tagaytay.

It is unclear if they simply transferred to Laurel, Batangas in 2022 or if it's a second branch of Delantera but the restaurant is still up and running to this day.   

5. Service beyond the lime light. As though juggling academics, basketball career, and sporadic modeling gigs aren't enough, Mclaude has also started dabbling in public service.

At the moment, is his the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of their baranggay in Tagaytay City.
