Leandro Baldemor wants to thank his former benefactor, apologize for taking advantage of her kindness
Leandro Baldemor admitted that he used to have a benefactor who would shower him with expensive gifts, such as jewelry and a luxury watch.
On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the veteran actor talked about his experiences as a former sexy actor, which included having admirers.
According to Leandro, he was surprised when his benefactor, a transwoman, went to Japan to give him gifts on his birthday.
"Nagpunta siya sa Japan, doon sa club namin. Galing siyang Cebu. Pumunta pa siya sa club namin sa Shinjuku. Isang bagsakan 'yon. Hindi ako makapaniwala noong mga panahon na 'yon," he said.
"Birthday ko noon. 'Di ko alam na alam niya. Talagang pinuntahan niya ako, sinadya niya ako doon. Tapos hinintay niyang mag-close 'yung omise tapos sabi niya sa akin birthday mo ngayon, kung anong gusto mo ibibigay ko sayo," he shared, recalling that she bought him a Rolex watch upon his request.
Leandro also clarified that there was no transactional relationship between them.
"May mga ganoong usap Tito Boy, pero hindi kami dumating sa ganoon kasi parang nagkaroon siya ng isang partner sa Japan," he said.
He also thought about returning the gifts she gave him.
"Ibabalik ko nga Tito Boy kasi mayroon siyang parang gusto na hindi ko kayang ibigay," he said.
Despite this, Leandro expressed his gratitude toward her, saying that if he ever sees her again, he would hug her, thank her, and apologize.
"Ayaw ko maging hipokrito pero hanggang ngayon nagpapasalamat ako sa kaniya dahil napakabait niyang tao," Leandro said.
"Yayakapin ko siya tapos magpapasalamat ako sa kaniya kasi tao ka. Tao ka. Tapos ang naging problema ko sa sarili ko ay masyado kitang sinamantala. Siguro 'yung mga panahon na 'yon bata pa ako eh. Hihingi ako ng tawad sa kaniya," he added.
A sexy actor in the '90s, Leandro is known for his roles in the movies "Sariwa," Tukso, Layuan Mo Ako," and "Pisil," among others.
He is among the cast of upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series "Hating Kapatid," which stars Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi, and their wins Mavy and Cassy.
