Gabbi Garcia, Mavy Legaspi happy to be back as hosts of ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’

Gabbi Garcia and Mavy Legaspi are happy to be back as hosts of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0!” 

In Aubrey Carampel’s report in “24 Oras” on Monday, Gabbi shared that she is looking forward to the upcoming season. 

“Talagang I always value this show kasi in-unleash niya talaga ‘yung hosting side ko and talagang nakapaglaro ako. I was just really myself, and I had so much fun the previous season, kaya I'm pretty sure doble pa 'yung saya ngayong season,” Gabbi said.

Meanwhile, Mavy expressed his excitement over the new edition.

“I’m so excited for this season because I'm sure there's gonna be a new twist to this, a new flavor, and a new vibe coming from such a successful season from the first collab and 2.0 is gonna be amazing, an amazing one, and I can't wait to get started,” he shared. 

Aside from Gabbi and Mavy, the Sparkle stars will once again be joined by Kapamilya hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Melai Cantiveros, Enchong Dee, and Alexa Ilacad. 

Per Enchong, viewers will also be welcomed with a different look of the iconic yellow house.

“Malaking bahagi itong nakikita nila ngayon sa look ng bahay, sa challenges, sa amin ding mga host,” he shared. 

Like Mavy and Gabbi, Alexa said that she feels honored and happy to be part of Kuya’s family once again.

“Of course I’m so so happy and I feel very honored na maging parte ng pamilya ni kuya and thankfully wala naman na-e-evict sa host. Thank god cause I was really wishing na sana makasama pa rin ako and thankfully my wish came true and I'm still here,” she shared. 

As for Robi, he feels nothing but nostalgia as he was also a teenager when he first entered Bahay ni Kuya in 2008.

“Kaya sobrang excited ako, 2008 dun ako pumasok sa Bahay ni Kuya as a teen. I'm so excited for another Collab Edition. 2.0 for me means the first collab did really well, so within a year 'di ba mayroon agad na panibago," he said. 

Bianca, meanwhile, hopes that this season will open up many opportunities for the new housemates, just as it did in previous seasons. 

She also reminded fans to show kindness and compassion toward the housemates, as well as gave advice to the new housemates. 

“Isang malaking good luck. First of all, it's a once in a lifetime experience. Sana ma-enjoy nila talaga, sana they find true friends na nandiyan sa buhay nila forever, and most importantly, to have fun,” she added.

The first edition of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" premiered in March and aired for four months. The show concluded on July 5 with the duo of Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo (BreKa) declared as the first-ever big winner duo.

During the Big Night, Bianca announced that the collab is getting a second season.

Earlier, it was announced that the second season will feature Gen Z celebrities and rising stars from Sparkle and Star Magic, which will be revealed this month.
