Cassy and Mavy Legaspi address Muhlach twin comparisons

Cassy and Mavy Legaspi weighed in on the comparisons between them and the Muhlach twins, Atasha and Andres.

On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Mavy shared an insightful reaction, stating that the discussion about the comparison was actually the first time he had heard of it.

“But all I can say with that really is I'm good friends with both of them. So we just laugh about it, I guess,” he said.

Mavy emphasized that both sets of twins are currently focused on their respective careers.

“We're so busy doing our own things. I mean, the twins also are doing their own things right now and also Cassy and I are doing our own things now. So the comparison really, if there is, really nothing,” he said.

He added that “they have their own identity. We have our own identity.”

Cassy also said that they are acquaintances and recalled that she met them last year at an event.

“I was excited to meet them. And I think it's cool na they finally entered the industry. And I don't know, it adds more flavor. Tsaka more twin representation. More twins. Let's go!” she said.

Atasha and Andres are the children of Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez.

Meanwhile, Cassy and Mavy, children of Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, are about to star with their parents in the upcoming Kapuso series “Hating Kapatid.”

It will begin airing on October 13 at 2:30 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
