Rita Daniela to star in upcoming ‘Magpakailanman’ episode about mental health

Rita Daniela is set to star in the upcoming episode of “Magpakailanman,” which will focus on the timely and crucial subjects of mental health and love.

According to Athena Imperial’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, the episode is directed by Zig Dulay, who also directed “Firefly,” “Green Bones,” “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” and “Widows’ War.”

“Excited ako na marami akong matututunan, hindi lamang doon sa paggawa ulit pa ng mga serye or mga ganitong klase ng drama,” he said.

Rita acknowledged the gravity of the storyline.

“This is very, actually, sensitive but also brave enough para po tahakin ‘to ng ‘Magpakailanman.’ Madadala rin po ang inyong mga puso dito,” she said.

Rita and Direk Zig worked together in “Widows’ War.”

The series ended in January.

“Magpakailanman” airs Saturdays on GMA Network at 8:15 p.m.
