Following Miss Grand International 2025 win, Emma Tiglao says, 'my heart beats gratitude'
Emma Tiglao, the Filipina beauty queen who took home the golden crown at the Miss Grand International 2025, is still relishing in her victory.
In her first message as the new title holder, Emma said she's “still in awe that this dream has become my reality.”
Her appreciation post was accompanied by a photo of herself inside her hotel room at the Hilton Bangkok Grande Asoke wearing a robe, her crown perched on her head, and her trophy, plaque, sashes, and bouquets of flowers beside her on the bed.
“Thank you, Miss Grand International Organization, Papa Nawat Itsaragrisil, Mama Teresa Yuphayao Chaivisut, for trusting me with this once-in-a-lifetime honor,” she said, tagging the MGI executives.
The beauty queen from Pampanga also expressed her gratitude to Filipinos who rallied behind her throughout the competition.
“To my beloved fellow Filipinos — this journey became our story because of you,” she said.
“Your ‘1 million heart reacts’ were more than just likes; they were symbols of bayanihan, of unity, of love that echoed across the world,” Emma added.
She ended her post with a note of appreciation for everyone who stood by her from the beginning.
“From the very beginning until this moment, you held my hand through every step, every challenge, and every triumph. For that, my heart beats with gratitude,” she said.
Emma made “herstory” on the Miss Grand International 2025 stage, securing back-to-back titles for the Philippines after CJ Opiaza took over the 2024 crown earlier this year.
Soon after her coronation, Emma's fellow beauty queens, including Catriona Gray, Michelle Dee, and MJ Lastimosa reacted to her victory.
