Jillian Ward wants to take legal action over fake news surrounding her
Jillian Ward is considering taking legal action after fake news about her resurfaced last week.
On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Star of the New Gen addressed several issues being thrown against her, such as allegations of a sugar daddy and a secret baby, claims that her own mother was offering her to benefactors, and rumors linking her to former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson.
When asked whether she has an idea where the rumors are coming from or if someone is behind it, Jillian said she does not know. But the actress said enough is enough.
It's not right," she said.
The King of Talk clarified whether she meant filing charges, she said yes.
"Yes gusto ko po na rin talaga, napag-uusapan na rin po namin ng GMA 'yun kasi it's too much," she said.
Jillian said she was 16 years old when rumors of her having a sugar daddy began, all because of the sports car that she was able to buy second-hand.
The Sparkle star also said the thought of quitting showbiz entered her mind due to the issues that keep invalidating her efforts.
Jillian said she prayed about it and realized that that she's in the industry for the craft, more than the blessings and support that she has been receiving.
"I'm here for the art. Gusto ko lang po talagang mag artista. 'Yun din po 'yung gusto kong sabihin," she said.
Jillian is set to star in upcoming series titled "Never Say Die" with David Licauco and Kim Ji Soo. She is also part of KMJS' "Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie." —MGP, GMA Integrated News
