Carlos Yulo gets surprise party after winning gold, bronze at World Gymnastics Championships

After clinching gold and bronze medals at the World Gymnastics Championships, Carlos Yulo returned to the Philippines to a surprise celebration waiting for him at home.

On Instagram, Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, shared a candid video capturing his reaction to the surprise.

“Excuse our sleepy faces and pajama, but this moment means the world,” Chloe said.

“No fancy setups, no grand gifts; just the truest form of love, laughter, and the people who’ve been with us through it all when everything was uncertain,” she added.

The content creator also thanked their “small but genuine family and circle of friends” for showing up during important milestones and “reminding us what matters most.”

“Mahal, we’re so so proud of you!! Congratulations again,” she said.

Carlos ruled the vault finals of the World Gymnastics Championships to win the gold medal. His victory came on the heels of his bronze medal finish in the floor exercise.
