Waynona Collings, Marco Masa open up about their 'multo' in 'PBB Collab 2.0.'
Waynona Collings and Marco Masa have opened up about their “multo” in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”
Tuesday’s episode featured a task where the housemates had to share and face their respective “multo sa buhay” that they had written on a scroll.
Waynona opened her scroll, which indicated the word “negosyo.”
“May business ang parents ko and then nagka-problem. Nawalan kami. We don’t even know what we're going to eat. And up until now, we are struggling so bad. Noong time na ‘yon kakapasok ko lang din sa Sparkle. So I had to grow up agad and be more mature,” the Kapuso star shared.
She then burst into tears and revealed yet another revelation about herself: she had stopped her schooling.
“I never talk about this cause nahihiya ako and natatakot ako. I haven’t gone to school in three years cause like wala na nga kaming money. Ayokong dumagdag pa. But I know I’m happy cause yung older brother ko, I got to bring him sa college,” Waynona said.
The Ate De Pamilya ng Quezon City also commended her parents for not giving up and running away from their problems.
“As in inilalaban talaga nila and they’re fixing the problem. Up until now, even I can see na sobrang napapagod sila,” she added.
Meanwhile, Marco opened the scroll that indicated the word “child actor” and shared his struggles as a young star.
“I started when I was three to four years old. Doon ako nag-start for commercials. Hindi man ako nagkaroon ng childhood katulad ng normal na bata, hindi naman nag-fail ang parents ko to give that kind of love and affection,” the Sparkle star said.
“Nagkaroon ako ng mga shows, and imagine growing up in front of everyone. I was three years old. I had to read lines, I had to perform, I had to play with my emotions. During that time it was all fun. All my life I’ve been working and I wanted. It’s not something na ireregret ko sa future,” he added.
As a child actor, Marco felt pressured because of the expectations from people around him and the personal things he had to overcome.
He said he felt as if he's "failing as a brother."
“‘Yung brother ko kasi, dahil sa dami ng ginagawa ko ‘yung alam niyo ‘yung feeling na ‘yung brother ko wala naman ibang kaibigan other than his family. Ngayon nawawalan ako ng time sa kaniya. "
Despite this, Marco said that he loves his family and everything he does is for them.
“Dahil sa work ko parang feeling ko natetake ko na lahat kasi ayoko ng mahirapan ang fahter ko. I love my family so much and everything I do lagi kong dinededicate sa kanila,” he said.
Aside from Marco, Kapamilya housemate Rave Victoria also shared his multo in life, which was the wedding of her mother to her new husband, which he was barred from attending.
Kapamilya star Lella Ford, the sister of Daniel Padilla, shared that her multo in life was studying abroad and having to build a name for herself outside the shadows of his family.
"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" started airing on October 25. The sequel season features a group of 20 Gen Z celebrities from Sparkle and Star Magic. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA Integrated News
