Martin Del Rosario wins Best Actor in CineSilip Film Festival

Martin Del Rosario won the Best Actor award at the inaugural CineSilip Film Festival for his performance in the film "Haplos sa Hangin."

In his acceptance speech, the Sparkle actor thanked the erotic film festival for giving filmmakers the opportunity to do brave and daring films.

"Sana after this festival mawala na 'yung stigma sa mga erotic movies na finoforward-forward mo lang sa sex scenes dahil walang kuwento na hindi naman talaga ganun. Kaya naman nating gumawa ng sex scene na may kuwento din," he said.

"And s'yempre sana maging bukas pa 'yung isip nating lahat or ng mga institution sa usaping sex kasi parte naman 'yan ng katotohanan sa buhay. Sana mas maging progresibo 'yung pag-iisip natin sa sex, sexualidad, even gender identity," he added.
