Will Ashley calls out bashers sending him hate messages, now considering legal options

Will Ashley spoke up on the hate messages targeting him, his family, and his friends.

On X (formerly Twitter), the Sparkle star said that some bashers have gone as far as wishing his family ill.

"I've been getting a lot of messages saying they hope my mom dies. Bakit umabot tayo sa ganyan? Last week lang, nagkaroon ng online reflection about bullying and mental health, tapos lumala this week?" he wrote.

"We are just doing our job, working for our craft, our art - bakit kailangan itapon natin ang morality? O baka sadyang masama lang talaga kayong tao and can't wait to wish ill on others."

Will said even his support system outside showbiz are getting dragged into the bashing.

He also said this barrage of hate is happening not just to him, but also to his fellow housemates from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

"We built a strong bond in the house, hindi n'yo ito masisira. Not everything we do is a calculated PR move, we are humans too," he said.

"Four months kaming magkakasama, supporting each other every day through some of the toughest days of our lives, so obviously close talaga kami," he added.

Will asked the fans to tone down the hate and save their outrage for "people who are doing evil."

The Nation's Son also said he is considering his legal options in case the hate messages do not stop.

"I don't want to tolerate this hate anymore na ibinabato n'yo sa kahit sino. Not me, not my friends and especially not my family. This is not a good use of our limited time on earth. Sana use your time to spread love, positivity and support," he said.

Will finished the PBB collab 1.0 as the Second Big Placer along with his Kapamilya duo, Ralph De Leon.

He recently held his debut concert at the New Frontier Theatre, which featured Bianca De Vera, Alden Richards, Jay Roncesvalles, and Eliza Maturan as guests.

The actor has two films in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival: "Bar Boys: After School" and "Love You So Bad." He has also another upcoming movie, the horror flick "Poon."

Several PBB collab 1.0 housemates, including Will, are also set to star in the upcoming collaboration project between GMA Network and ABS-CBN titled "Secrets of Hotel 88."
