Deia's father revealed in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre'

The identity of Deia's father has finally been revealed in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre."

In the preview for Friday's episode, Ednu (Jamie Wilson) and Daron (Jon Lucas) were seen reporting to Zaur (Gabby Eigenmann) that they have one of the Sang'gres hostage.

When Zaur learned that it was Deia (Angel Guardian), he lashed out and asked why they took his daughter, shocking them both. Deia also overheard their exchange.

Deia, the new keeper of the air gem, was first introduced as the daughter of Mine-a-ve general Olgana (Bianca Manalo).

However, the identity of her father was kept secret all this time.

There were several fan theories about Deia's heritage before the reveal. Some thought she might have been descended partly from Encantados, because the air gem chose her as its keeper.

With Zaur and Olgana as parents, this means that she is a pure Mine-a-ve, assuming that both of them do not have Encantado blood.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8:05 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream.
