Dustin Yu apologizes to fans for missing Mindoro event due to Typhoon Uwan
Dustin Yu on Saturday issued an apology after being unable to make it to Mindoro for an event.
On Facebook, the Sparkle star explained that he had already driven to Batangas port, but water transportations were canceled due to the weather.
“I sincerely apologize for not being able to make it to Mindoro today. I actually drove all the way to Batangas Port, but all RORO trips were cancelled due to the approaching storm that’s about to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility,” Dustin wrote.
The ex-PBB housemate said that he had truly been looking forward to being with his fans.
“I hope everyone stays safe while the weather develops,” he said. “Sana makabawi next time when conditions permit.”
Dustin was previously announced as one of the guests for the “Rakrakan sa Arawatan” event in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.
The Philippines is currently monitoring Typhoon Uwan, which prompted weather bureau PAGASA to declare on Saturday eight areas in Luzon and Visayas under Tropical Weather Cyclone Signal (TWCS) No. 2.
Meanwhile, Dustin has an upcoming fan concert.
It will be held at the New Frontier Theatre in Quezon City on December 4.
