Garrett Bolden, Thea Astley, and Arabella Dela Cruz are set to represent the Philippines in the South Korean reality competition Veiled Cup Korea!

The Kapuso stars were hailed as Top 3 winners of the "Veiled Musician Philippines" which aired on "All-Out Sundays" on November 9.

Thea, Arabella, and Garrett competed against nine other professional singers in the elimination round. From the 12 contestants, only six advanced to the next stage. These six then entered the collaboration round, where each pair performed alongside one of the judges — Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela, or Mark Bautista.

After the collab round, the six contestants moved on to the final round, where they performed their final songs.

During the final round, the contestants were judged not only by Julie Anne, Rita and Mark but also the guest judge, K-pop star and Girls' Generation member Tiffany Young.

Dubbed as "Ang Total Performer ng Bicol," Thea delivered a powerful rendition of Lady Gaga's "I'll Never Love Again." Meanwhile, Arabella, known as "Ang Sultry Vocalist ng Laguna," impressed with her soulful take on Coldplay's "Fix You." Lastly, Garrett, "Ang Mister Sensitive Songwriter ng Norte," moved the audience with an emotional performance of Rick Price's "Heaven Knows."

Thea, Arabella, and Garrett each won a Trip to Korea package and K-pop vocal training, with prizes totaling P1 million. Meanwhile, the winner of the Veiled Cup Korea will receive a recording contract for a K-drama OST and the opportunity to headline the Veiled Musician Global Tour.

Aside from Thea, Arabella, and Garrett, the other contestants were Kapuso singers Rdee Asadon, "Ang Mestizo Crooner ng Novaliches," LA Escobar, "Ang Poging Sessionista ng Bulacan," and Hannah Priscillas, "Ang Pop Diva" ng Batangas.

The six unveiled contestants from the elimination round went with the monikers "Ang Gospel Diva ng Isabela," "Ang Ministry Muse ng Las Piñas," "Ang Sweet Siren ng Laguna," "Ang Teen Idol ng Cavite," "Ang Singing Engineer ng Saudi," at "Ang Voice Impersonator ng Batangas."

Produced by South Korea's SBS, "Veiled Musician" features performers hidden behind a huge veil, using only their voices to impress the judges.

The Philippines is the fourth country visited by "Veiled Musician," following stops in Indonesia, Mongolia, and Laos.

Thea rose to fame as a finalist on GMA Network's "The Clash" Season 2. Aside from being a singer, Thea is also a theater actress, starring in the musical "Once On The Island."

Meanwhile, Arabella was the first Runner-Up in "The Clash" 2025, while Garrett previously competed in the first season of the same competition. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
