PBB housemate Caprice Cayetano turns emotional at 17th birthday surprise

Caprice Cayetano could not help but shed some happy tears on Wednesday’s episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”

Caprice turned 17 inside Bahay ni Kuya and had a unique celebration.

First, she was given a birthday task by Kuya where she had to act as a cake-topper. Caprice had to replicate various poses from old pictures, and was not allowed to move or speak.

As Caprice started posing, her fellow housemates suddenly sang “Happy Birthday” with a board that had written messages for her. They also read their messages for Caprice.

“Sobrang na-touch po ako sa binigay nilang board, Kuya, na may mga message,” Caprice said later in the Confession Room.

“Ngayon lang po ako Kuya nakatanggap ng ganitong mga message," she added as her eyes filled with tears.

Caprice received various surprises from her family, including a letter from her lolo and lola, where they told her she is a source of joy for their family. It was read by fellow housemate Rave Victoria.

Her parents, the famed chef Jorge Mendez and his wife Cheenee, also gave Caprice a surprise video message, where they told the 17-year-old how proud they are of her. It prompted more tears from Caprice.

“Ako po Kuya, syempre may part po sa ‘kin na malungkot. Ito po ‘yung una na hindi ko po talaga kasama ‘yung family ko na i-celebrate ‘yung birthday ko,” she admitted, before shedding more tears upon hearing Kuya tell her that he is looking forward to seeing her next chapters.
